    Default Cabins at Fort Wilderness??

My wife and I are considering staying at the cabins. We will have our two boys one will be almost 3 the other 1 1/2. We thought the cabins would offer a little more space for little ones.
Our questions that you can help me with:
-What is transportation like? Did you find it slow? How long to get to the parks?
-How hard is it to travel within the resort? I know it is pretty big so how does this work out?
-Any policies against crockpots running in cabins?
-What are pools like? They look very spread out and not as themed as other resorts.
-Any additional tips or opinions on the cabins would be appreciated.
Thanks and have a magical day!!

I stayed in the cabin in 2005 and we loved it. we rented a golf cart for the week we were there. They have places for you to park them at the bus stops with plugs so they charge. we didn't find the transportation too bad.

Transportation at FW is fine. Internal buses run regularly around within the resort and other buses run to other parks, DTD and water parks.
There's also boats from the beach area to WL and Contemporary and MK. You can rent a golf cart if you must have instantaneous service, but they are costly, about $60/day I think. But the buses are fine if you have enough patience to wait 5 minutes.

FW has internal buses to get you around the campground. The cabins have a separate pool, but there is no theme or slide. The main pool has a nice slide and kid play area.

No rules against crockpots, as far as I know.

We are staying in the cabins in late March. I think your little ones will not only like the extra space to run around in the cabin, but will also like the extras at the campground. You can ride a pony, visit the other horses, play on several playgrounds, rent boats or bikes, and visit with Chip n Dale at the singalong and free movie.

And about 40 more in between....
