Mexico

Our favorite pavilion in World Showcase (though Norway runs a close second). The scenery inside is fantastic featuring Mayan pyramids with volcanoes oozing lava off in the distance.  Best of all, you can enjoy a meal here while soaking in the atmosphere as ride boats gently float by on a moonlight Mexican night. For Disney World buffs, the ride offers a few sequences similar to those used in Tomorrowland's gone, but not forgotten "If You Had Wings" and "Dreamflight."

Dining

There are four options for food and drink located in Mexico. Inside, you will find San Angel Inn, a full service restaurant at under the stars along the waterway. Authentic Mexican fare is offered in this quiet, romantic setting. Also inside, La Cava del Tequila is a bar that serves tequila as you like it, straight up or mixed into some truly unique margarita options. Outside, La Hacienda de San Angel is open for dinner only, serving up Mexican favorites inspired by fresh ingredients. This spot at the water's edge is a great place to watch Illuminations from, if you time your reservation right. At lunch, La Hacienda de San Angel provides additional seating indoors for the adjacent La Cantina de San Angel, a counter service spot offering tacos, nachos, and combination plates. Click for menus below!

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (replacing "El Rio Del Tiempo") debuted in April 2007, with a new storyline and film featuring Donald Duck, José Carioca (the parrot), and Panchito (the Mexican charro rooster) from the 1944 Disney film "The Three Caballeros." The "Gran Fiesta Tour" film features an animated overlay of the caballeros being reunited for a grand performance in Mexico City. Along the way, Donald disappears to take in the sights of the country, leaving José and Panchito to search for their missing friend. In addition to the new film, the boat ride's props, set facades and sound system have been refurbished and enhanced. This slow moving boat ride is fun for all ages.
