20th Epcot International
Flower & Garden Festival Dates & Details Announced
A
bounty of festival firsts will greet guests at the 20th Epcot International
Flower & Garden Festival March 6 through May 19, 2013. New this year; Epcot
chefs will cook up festival food and beverages, with special cooking
stations. A circus-like “Land of Oz Play Area,” based on the film “Oz: The
Great and Powerful” will debut a kaleidoscope of interactive fun. A Fab Five
Disney character topiary featured in a floral cookout scene will be at the
park’s front entrance. And illuminated gardens in Future World and World
Showcase will cast a colorful glow over each festival evening. The festival,
including all gardening programs and exhibits, is included in regular Epcot
admission.
Legend of Captain Jack
Sparrow Sneak Preview From Disney's Hollywood Studios
The
Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow is a walk-through attraction that will allow
guests to follow in the footsteps of Jack Sparrow to see if they have what
it takes to join his rowdy and daring pirate crew. Walt Disney Imagineering
just shared a preview in which Imagineers take you behind the scenes of the
making of this new experience.
Take a Virtual Ride on Under
the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid in New Fantasyland!
A few weeks ago, we had a
chance to do a sneak preview of the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.
This included experiencing the signature attractions and taking HD video of
what it's like to to ride on Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
in New Fantasyland!

Starbucks
is coming to the Walt Disney World Resort with the first two locations
opening next year. At Magic Kingdom, the Main Street Bakery will close for
refurbishment in January 2013 and reopen as a Starbucks location in early
summer. At Epcot, Fountain View will close in March 2013 and reopen as a
Starbucks location in midsummer. Both locations will be designed to fit the
theme of their surroundings. Magic Kingdom Starbucks cast members will wear
a costume consistent with Main Street, U.S.A. At Future World in Epcot, cast
member costumes will be designed to match the park’s futuristic theme. Both
locations will offer the full complement of Starbucks® signature beverages,
artisan breakfast sandwiches and a wide selection of baked goods.
