2009 Holiday Party Tickets Go On Sale May 1st

"Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" tickets go on sale May 1. These are hard ticket events. Guests must purchase separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World limits the number of tickets sold in order to keep the crowds down and many dates sell out in advance. Purchase tickets by calling (407) W-DISNEY.

Epcot "Sounds Like Summer” Concerts Return

The “Sounds Like Summer” Concert Series, will be returning to at Epcot again this year, from June 15 through August 9. The concerts will be held 3 times daily, at the America Gardens Theatre, in World Showcase. The concert series features a lineup of rockin' bands covering timeless tunes from U2, The Eagles, The Supremes, Bon Jovi, and many more. Show times are; 5:45, 6:30 & 8:15 p.m. The special concerts are included with park admission.

Cat Cora To Open New Disney World Restaurant

Ironchef Cat Cora and Disney are joining together to open an exciting new family dining restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. Kouzzina by Cat Cora will feature a menu of Mediterranean-style cuisine that pays tribute to the chef’s Greek roots. The restaurant, to be owned and operated by Disney, is scheduled to open by Fall 2009 in the space currently occupied by Spoodles.

2009 Disney's Night of Joy Details Announced

Marking the 27th anniversary of Night of Joy, on September 11 & 12, a total of 12+ acts will present concerts on stages throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios. Christian music lovers from all over the globe will be gathering for a celebration with top-name music artists, theme park attractions and Disney characters. The long-running series has played to a combined audience of over three-quarters of a million people. Top Artists include; P.O.D., MercyMe, Chris Tomlin (pictured above), leeland, Jars of Clay, Mandisa and many more.
