As Fantasyland prepares for its magical transformation at the Magic Kingdom, several changes are already taking place.   Ariel's Grotto and Pooh's Playful Spot closed on April 11. These areas will not re-open and will be razed as part of the expansion.  The central tree from Pooh's Playful Spot is planned to find a new home in an expanded queue for the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Ariel will have a new meet & greet location when the expansion is complete.  Starting May 9, 2010 new character Meet & Greet opportunities will be offered to replace those closed as part of the Fantasyland expansion. The Advenutreland Veranda will host a Meet & Greet with Ariel & Prince Eric and Town Square will host a Meet & Greet with Winnie the Pooh & Friends.  As a result of these new offerings, Stitch will move to Tommorowland, as well as Chip & Dale for daily Meet & Greet appearances.  Remember, all character times and places are subject to change, so  check with Guest services at the park the day of for the most recently scheduled appearance times and places.

<<The Buffet is Back>>

The Wishes Dessert Party returned from hiatus on March 28, 2010.  The dessert buffet experience is priced at $21.99 for Guests 10 and up and $11.99 for Guests 3-9. During Peak Holiday periods, holiday pricing premiums will apply (as they do at other buffets across the property).  During these periods a Holiday Premium of $4 will be added for Guests 10 and up and $2 will be added for Guests 3 -9.  The Wishes Dessert Party is currently accepting reservations through May 31, 2010 via 1-407-WDW-DINE or disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/.
