The Disney’s Endurance Series kicked-off for 2010 at the start of the month with the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.  Through-out 2010 Walt Disney World will place host to other race events giving Guests a unique way to enjoy fitness and fun at the Vacation Kingdom.  The remaining 2010 events include the Champion 5K (part of ESPN the Weekend) on February 27th, the Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend on March 5th, 6th & 7th, the Expedition Everest Challenge on June 12th, and the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend on Oct. 1st & 2nd.  Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall; the Walt Disney World resort offers a race event for those who want to put more than a little bounce in their step on their vacation.

<<Star Wars Weekends Return>>

Once again, the power of the Force and the magic of Disney combine for the family-friendly fan-fest, scheduled for four consecutive weekends, beginning May 21 and running through June 13, 2010, at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The event includes special parades, trivia games, meet-and-greet sessions with Star Wars legends and characters and special themed activities. The weekend festivities take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and are included with regular theme park admission.

<< An Early Bloom >>

The 17th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off March 3 – earlier than ever – and continues for 75 days through May 16, 2010, with bold strokes of seasonal color and brand-new topiary whimsy. Last year’s festival began March 18; now Walt Disney World guests get a head start on the gardening season as they explore exhibits and activities geared toward discovery and outdoor fun. Even before spring has sprung, Donald Duck and his topiary pals set up camp in full floral color to celebrate the Great Outdoors at the Epcot front entrance. The elaborate topiary with a North American theme, live waterfall and pond features Goofy in a fly-fishing misadventure, Daisy Duck roasting marshmallows over a campfire and Pluto in his “pup tent.” It’s a must-stop photo op for guests as soon as they pass through the park turnstiles. Packing more floral punch this year, the festival showcases nearly 100 expertly crafted topiaries – including a new American Gothic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
