<<A Million More Dreams>>

As "The Year of a Million Dreams" extends for an additional 12 months (throughout 2008), more than one million more dreams will be awarded to guests at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. From the special and small to the unbelievable and big, Guests on both coasts can encounter an extra dose of Pixie Dust just by visiting a Disney Theme Park or Disney Entertainment District. Let's take a look at how this extra special program is magically extending a calendar year and your chance for extra fun!

Cast As Dream Makers

Thousands of Disney cast members are creating an unprecedented number of Magical Moments as members of the Dream Squad. On special assignment for the celebration, these cast members are taking Disney friendliness to exciting new heights with personal interactions marked by special surprises.

Disney Dreams Giveaway

More than a million extra-special dreams are being awarded through a random process as part of the unique Disney Dreams Giveaway -- from the special -- a Dream FASTPASS or Limited Edition Mickey Ears -- to the spectacular -- a character breakfast down Main Street USA or a private day on Castaway Cay. Eligible guests can be randomly selected for these dreams-come-true just by being in a theme park, water park or entertainment district.

One-Of-A-Kind Accommodations

Perhaps the most magical Disney Dreams Giveaway prizes are overnight experiences for winning guests at both East and West Coast resorts: a royal suite inside Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort and a secret suite tucked away in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Resort.

Magical Moments

Disney cast members famous for guest service every day of the year are creating tens of millions of magical moments -- personal interactions that can make a guest feel like a VIP. These include guests helping open a Disney park in the morning, joining performers in a Disney parade or being official wildlife spotter on a Disney's Animal Kingdom safari

Immersive Entertainment

"The Year of a Million Dreams" also includes a whole lineup of immersive entertainment that draws guests into the middle of the action. Guests might find themselves living the buccaneer life as a pirate of the Caribbean, "getting rowdy" by channeling their inner cowboy or cowgirl, learning the ways of a Jedi in the Star Wars galaxy, or joining in a high-energy "High School Musical" pep rally.

New Shows & Attractions

As if thousands of dreams bestowed daily aren't enough, Disney guests are also being treated to new exciting attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts as part of "The Year of a Million Dreams" celebration like Toy Story Mania! at Disney's California Adventure & Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Summer of 2008.

<<Timeshare Tips by The Timeshare Store >>

How much does it cost to purchase a membership in the Disney Vacation Club through the Timeshare Store? You will realize quite a savings purchasing from The Timeshare Store than purchasing directly from Disney. For example, Disney is currently selling Saratoga Springs for $104 per point or $16,640. Let's say you purchase 160 points at Saratoga Springs from The Timeshare Store for $80 per point. Your purchase price would be $12,800.

The only costs incurred by you, the buyer, is the purchase price, closing costs and dues for the points that you receive for the current use year. Closing costs are based on the selling price. For a $12,800 purchase, closing costs would be $475. That would include a complete title search (making sure that you receive your property free and clear of any liens or encumbrances), title insurance and all costs related to recording of all documents and deeds.

If you were to receive all points for the current use year, Disney requires that the dues for those points are paid in full at the time of closing. If you are only receiving partial points for the current use year, you would only pay the dues on the points that you receive and would be able to use. (The seller would pay the dues on the points that they borrowed and used). If the listing you purchase has banked points from a previous use year, the seller has already paid dues on those points and they would be “free” points to you.

Visit The Timeshare Store’s website to review our current listings. If you have any questions on the resale process or a current listing, please call The Timeshare Store and talk to any of our DVC resale experts. We are here to help you and your family have many magical vacations for years to come.

<< Pirate & Princess Party Points >>

The Pirate & Princess Party has returned to the Magic Kingdom for more looting and luxury through-out the first half of 2008. This after hours hard ticket event transforms the Magic Kingdom into a plethora of Pirate Coves and Princess Courts. In addition to your favorite rides, this event offers an event exclusive parade, an brand new event exclusive fireworks spectacular and other entertainment offerings not commonly found during normal operational hours.

With this event being the newest of after-hour hard ticket events, many of our INTERCOTee's haven't had the chance to experience the event for themselves, so let's take a look at what some of the INTERCOTee's who have attended the parties have been saying:
“The velvet lined, smoky entry way was very cool. Got "Treasure Maps" and little velvet treasure baggies upon entry. We filled them up with "booty" (candy) and got lots of "jewels" (beads) at the "Treasure X's." Rode everything we wanted to ride with no line. Some rides we even just stayed on over and over again.”-- WheresWalt

“The kingdom was transformed with lights showing pirate and princess themes on the buildings, streets and sidewalks!! The dance parties that are set up are great. I have awesome pictures of my kids dancing with Stitch and Lilo. This was the most magical experience. Well worth the money!!!!”
-- rebeccalancaster

“I love all the characters that we have out for this party. Sebastian, Flounder, 3 fish from the Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, John Smith, Prince Ali & Abu, Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters, Stitch as an alien, they're all so cute! All of the pirates are really cool and they even have Elizabeth sword fighting on the pirate ship float! The perimeter fireworks are fantastic!”-- *Liz*

“The Magic, Music & Mayhem Fireworks Spectacular was at 9:45 and we caught it in front of the castle. To me, it was the best fireworks show I've ever seen at Disney. Perimeter fireworks, Tinkerbell flying, the whole bit. An awesome sight!” We walked onto Dumbo, the Carousel, Pooh, and I noticed no waits for Philharmagic and a minimal wait early in the evening for Peter Pan. Overall we had a great time!! -- Piglet822

“The parade and fireworks were just beyond anything I've ever seen - amazing! Although they were both more focused on princesses than pirates, but in my opinion, the pirate parts were the highlights of the parade and fireworks. And I met Captain Jack Sparrow. This was the best part of the whole entire evening. He was amazing!”-- limegreenmonorail

Disney’s Pirate & Princess Party continues on select nights now through June 4, 2008.
