<< Keys to the Virtual Kingdom with JPL >>
A new land opened in the Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK) this past January, New Orleans Square. The new
addition replicates the popular land is Disneyland. The land contains an
area overlooking the Rivers of America, the VMK Gallery, an exclusive Club
33 Room, and the Blue Bayou Restaurant.
The VMK Gallery showcases upcoming
items and conceptual artwork for the game. Club 33 is a staff exclusive room
that will be used for special events by the game staff. Finally, the Blue
Bayou offers a new non-playing character that offers daily credits for guests
and interacts with them by serving virtual Monte Cristo sandwiches. Along with
the new land a new version of one of the most popular games on VMK was
released - Castle Fireworks Remixed. A new in-game was also release to celebrate
the opening of New Orleans Square offering a New Orleans French Quarter
Resort Pin as a prize.
Another new addition is VMK Pass, which works much like a FastPass in the
real parks. You get a pass for a full room and can do other things while you
wait to enter the room. The New Year promises to be an exciting one in the
Virtual Magic Kingdom.
February has kicked off Mardi Gras in VMK with the release of a new hat and
pin every Friday to celebrate this New Orleans tradition.
Put on your
virtual feather mask and join the fun!!
Don’t forget, VMK has started to delete inactive accounts after 6 months. If you want your account to be safe stop by and log on every few weeks
to avoid deletion.

- Finding Nemo—The
Musical –
I had the opportunity to experience this show during the Annual Passholder preview.
It was entertaining, bright, colorful, energetic, happy and sad. I just can't
say enough about it. It was a wonderful show. It took me a moment to get
past the actors that are controlling the puppets, but once I did I found it
to be a very good production.
The singing, acting, and performing is very well done. The props and
scenery is very bright and colorful. My favorite was the depiction of the
aquarium in the doctors office. Amazing!!!!
I know many of you have seen it and share my feelings about it. I highly
recommend this show to anyone visiting the Animal Kingdom, it's a wonderful
addition to the park, but be sure to get there early. I have seen the lines
for this show snake all the way through Dinoland. It's well worth the wait,
in my opinion.
As INTERCOTee lindique stated at the end of the show, this has the makings
of a Broadway production!!

Timeshare Tips >>
by The Timeshare Store
In the last Insider we spoke about deciding on how many points to purchase
in the Disney Vacation Club. Now that you have made that decision, your next
step is to decide which resort you wish to make as your home resort. A good
rule of thumb is to purchase at the resort you would enjoy staying at the
most since your home resort give you an advantage in making reservations.
Let's say you purchased your DVC points at Disney’s Boardwalk. You can make
reservations at Boardwalk (your home resort) 11 months before your vacation
check out date. Next year you want to use your Boardwalk points at the
Wilderness Lodge. Since it is not your home resort, you would have to wait
until 7 months before your vacation check out date to make the reservations,
giving those who own at Wilderness Lodge the home resort advantage in making
their reservations. This is important if you vacation during the very busy
seasons at Walt Disney World. The smaller resorts tend to book up quickly,
so choose your home resort based on where you want to stay the most.
Of course, you may use your points at any of the 7 DVC resorts and at over
500 locations worldwide.
Check our website below to see all of our current DVC listings for sale.
Contact us at The Timeshare Store and any of our associates would be happy
to answer your questions and find the right Disney Vacation Club membership
for you and your family.

INTERCOTee Top 5 … Desserts >>
February is a month for sweethearts and Disney World is a place not shy of
sweets. From quick service counters to gourmet restaurants, Disney World’s
eateries offer a deluge of delicious desserts. While everyone has their
individual favorite endings to a meal, there are a few sweet standouts. The
Insider has reviewed recent discussions and put together a countdown of the
Top 5 Walt Disney World Desserts.
Coming in at number 5 … Butter Griddled Pound Cake
Pleasing to the most patriotic of pallets, this pound cake tops off many a
lunch at the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Tree Tavern. After a pit-stop on a hot
griddle, this pound cake comes to your plate smothered with warm pecan
caramel sauce and complimented with vanilla bean ice cream.
Coming in at number 4 … Tie-Dyed Cheesecake
This psychedelic sweet follows most meals served at the Pop Century Resort’s
Everything Pop Food Court. This chocolate graham cracker crusted cheesecake
is an edible work of art with its yellow, green, pink and purple swirl
designs.
Coming in at number 3 … Maple Creme Brulee
This taste of Canada keeps Guests coming back to Epcot’s Le Cellier for a
maple fix only a our northern neighbor could deliver. This creme brulee is
caramelized from maple sugar and is served with fresh cookies straight from
the kitchen.
Coming in at number 2 … The Chocolate Wave
Flooding your mouth with a sea of chocolate, this cake is a consistent
favorite at Epcot’s Coral Reef. This chocolate composite is comprised of
dark chocolate cake with a white chocolate Grand Marnier & chocolate ganache
filling and served with white chocolate ice cream.
And coming in at number 1 … 'Ohana Bread Pudding
The king kameamea of confectionaries pleases all comers at the Polynesian
Resort’s ‘Ohana. This Polynesian bread pudding is topped with a Banana
Foster sauce and served a la mode. This decedent dessert is best enjoyed
while viewing the Wishes fireworks spectacular from one of ‘Ohana’s aptly
appointed tables; adding a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth.
That’s it for this countdown. Hope it’s given you some sweet inspiration for
your next dining endeavors at “the world”.
