<< Introduction >>
And so it has begun
– The Happiest Celebration on Earth!! Join us for this edition of the
INTERCOT Insider where we introduce our new sponsor, Casey and Carol continue to keep you up to date on
all the exciting happenings at Walt Disney World. Ray gives us some tips on
getting a good response to your INTERCOT threads, and Jane brings us the Water
Cooler happenings, which always get a chuckle. We hope you enjoy the issue!
<< Welcome to The
Timeshare Store >>
INTERCOT is proud
to announce a new sponsor, The Timeshare Store. The Timeshare Store offers
the largest selection of Disney Vacation Club Resale’s anywhere. They are
also the number one Disney Vacation Club Reseller in the world. Take a
moment to click on their web site below to learn more about them.
The Timeshare Store
Here’s what our very own member’s have to say;
”We purchased re-sale through the Timeshare Store. It was VERY easy! They
are very thorough and very helpful. We had an agent who we talked with over
the phone and then most of the transaction was done by fax and Federal
Express. Disney will often buy back points that are being sold lower than
the average sale for that particular resort. We bought at Hilton Head and I
think we got it for $74/point. We hope to buy resale again in a couple of
years....I would really like to own some points at Villas of Wilderness
Lodge and we will definitely use the Timeshare Store again.” – Tinkermom
” We also bought through the Timeshare store and the process was very easy.
We saved quite a bit even though we had to pay closing costs.” Lisa and Alan
” We also used The Timeshare Store. They were quite patient with my
seemingly endless questions and dispelled the fears I had about the entire
process.” - hubbyofadisneyholic
<< Disney World Events with DisneyWizard >>

desserts!

Disney World. Attractions from all over the world have been imported into
each of the parks for the worldwide marketing promotion. Check out some of
the reviews on the new attractions by your fellow INTERCOTees:
“My 3 year old daughter LOVED [Cinderellabration] as did I.” -Tinkermom
“[Small World] looks incredible. It's great to hear people talking
positively about [it].” -Funforall
“[Soarin’] is my favorite Disney ride anywhere....I'm so glad it has come to
Epcot!” –Melanears

Celebration on Earth” INTERCOT Insider for more reviews and events
- New Desserts to kick-off the Celebration -
New desserts will be unveiled at some of the restaurants across property
just in time for the new celebration. Similar to the 100 Years of Magic
celebration, select dishes will be available for a limited time only. Also,
Disney is now referring to all “priority seating arrangements” as “advanced
dining reservations.” No changes have been made to the current policies,
just simply the name.
“This is the best thread ever.... I almost licked my monitor!” –stephie
“Have to try to stop by Brown Derby just for dessert!” –Tink4Me
“They all look delicious. I am most excited about that slipper [dessert].” -Bethanymouse

title - a descriptive name
- Merriam Webster Dictionary
What’s in a name….or in this case a title or heading of a thread? In the
case of the INTERCOT Boards the choice of a title for your thread is very
important. Why? Because the title is the front door to your thread or
putting it in the words of a popular HGTV show, it gives your thread “curb
appeal” or a reason to open your thread.
For instance, suppose you want to post a question in Dining about Ohana’s.
Instead of saying, “What do you think,” you should say "What do you think of
"Ohana’s". People are often in a hurry when surfing the boards. Some people
aren't going to open every topic, but if they love or hate Ohana’s they
would open that thread.
So, as you can see, it’s very important to have your thread title be
descriptive of what the thread is about or the question that you’re asking.
If you have a question about what the rooms are like at Port Orleans,
instead of posting a thread with the title of “Pssst….Hey Buddy…Over Here”
you probably would have a better chance of getting your question answered if
you used a title more like, “What are the Port Orleans Rooms Like?”
After all, if you are posting a question, you want people to notice your
thread and help you with answers or opinions, right? We have a lot of
knowledgeable members willing to help you out or give an opinion…we’re all
Disney experts, right? Sometimes we just need a little help drawing us in to
help you out.

Were you April
fooled this year? Darbylew wished us all a Happy April Fools Day. Sounded
like a lot of our members were fooled into thinking that they might need to
build an ark because of all the April showers! And it was no April Fools
that Munch reminded us to “spring ahead” over the weekend of April 2. I know
I am enjoying the extra evening daylight, how about you?
There’s always a reason to celebrate something in the Water Cooler. Lizzy’s
celebrations for the month of April included National Cheeseball Day, Take a
Chance Day, Kiss Your Mate Day, No Housework Day, Blah Blah Blah Day, and Go
for Broke Day. And did you know that April was National Welding Month and
International Twit Award Month? Thanks Lizzy for the entertainment that you
provide to us each month!
Jamie’s April Friday parties included April Fools Day party (Nigel, no way
can you fool us! That was the biggest party of the month!). Other Friday
parties for the month included Partier’s Choice, Vacation Destination, Nifty
Nature Party, and of course we can’t forget the Laugh Giggle Snort Wheeze
TwitterSilly Party! Thanks Jamie and Nigel for being such great hosts to us
week after week!
Speaking of parties, wonders10 wanted to know what our favorite cocktails
are. So many different types were mentioned (including some that I’d never
heard of before), but among the favorites of INTERCOTees were Margaritas,
Cosmopolitans, Hurricanes, Mojitos, and of course my favorite: beer! Maybe
Jamie can use some of these in her Friday parties!
Do you have an idol? LittleSpirit02 asked INTERCOTees to share who their
idols are and some of the most frequently mentioned were Audrey Hepburn,
Ronald Reagan, and Hillary Clinton. Who was the most popular among
INTERCOTees? Walt Disney of course!
We’re sending lots and lots of pixie dust to buzznwoodysmom’s husband who
just made the trek over to Iraq. Denise, please thank your husband and let
him know how grateful we are for his service to our country! More pixie dust
is headed harlowandthemermaid’s way too for her little Sam. All of us at
INTERCOT are pulling for the little guy! Keep a close eye in the Water
Cooler for upcoming information on how we can all help Mel and little Sam.
