Strollers In The Parks

Cost:

Strollers can be rented for a daily fee at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs*. The cost is $15 per day for a single-passenger (38 inches and 50 pounds or under) stroller and $31 per day for a double-passenger (38 inches and 50 pounds or under each) stroller. Strollers can also be rented for multiple days. The cost for a multi-day is $13/day, when you prepay for a specific number of days.

If you plan on park hopping, don't worry about having to pay an additional fee for a new stroller. Simply return your rented stroller upon leaving. Present your receipt to the attendant at your next park destination and a new stroller will be issued at no cost.

* Strollers rented at Disney Springs require a $100 credit card deposit, refundable upon return of the stroller.

Rental Locations:

Magic Kingdom  - Right of the main entrance before passing under the railroad station and at Tinkerbell's Treasures.

Epcot - Inside the main entrance to the left and at the International Gateway entrance.

Animal Kingdom - At Safari Village inside the main entrance to the right.

Disney Studios - Oscar's Super Service inside the park entrance on the right.

Disney Springs - Near the bus stop, next to the Coca Cola Experience store

Lost or Stolen Strollers:

Strollers are NOT permitted inside the attractions and must be parked outside.  As you might imagine, it is not uncommon upon exiting a show or ride to discover that your stroller is missing. Before panicking, take a good look around.  Disney employees are notorious for moving parked strollers, often to clear a pathway or simply to organize the strollers in a more aesthetically pleasing manner.  If your still unable to find your stroller, ask a park attendant for the nearest replacement location.  A new stroller will be issued at no additional cost.  Many strollers are simply taken by mistake since they all look alike.  To help avoid this mishap, its advisable to affix something recognizable but expendable to your rented stroller.  Perhaps an old diaper bag, scarf or even a sock.

Bringing Your Own Stroller vs. Renting:

Many Disney vacationers prefer to bring their own stroller.  The following are some of the more common reasons mentioned for bringing your own stroller and should be taken into consideration when making your decision.

The daily fee could add up if you plan on staying for an extended period.

Its easier to find your own stroller among the sea of identical park strollers.

Only collapsible strollers are permitted on the monorails and buses.

Rented strollers may not  be appropriate for some tiny infants.

If you plan on spending a lot of time outside of the Disney theme parks (hotel, other Orlando attractions, etc.), you may want to bring your own stroller.

Walking from the parks to your car/bus/airport/hotel without a stroller may be cumbersome with small ones in tow.
