Another Pop question
Hi guys
I really appreciate all the answers I've been getting recently so, thank you!
I do have another question though....
Are the preferred rooms at Pop worth the extra price? Or is the resort small enough to not really worry about it? There will be 3 adults so no worry about little ones.
Thanks!

The resort isn't really that big. If no one in your group has any mobility issues and seeing the parking lot out your window isn't too big of a deal, my favorite rooms were in the 50s section behind the jukebox facing the parking lot. I liked being able to see the fireworks off in the distance on our first night there and that area was very quiet.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I tend to pick the 50's section myself, but generally get the Tramp building. All of the buildings have 'shortcuts' to the buses and, even if you take the 'long way around' are not bad to walk to/from. Have not visited since the SkyLiner was built, but I am sure it is no farther of a walk than the buses are.
To put it in perspective...The longest walk to/from the buses or SkyLiner at Pop would be about the same as the farthest walk to/from the buses at any of the parks themselves. Maybe a little daunting at the end of the night, when you have been walking all day, but really not that bad. The 'preferred rooms' might take it from a 5 minute walk down to 2 or 3 minutes.

No, preferred rooms may be closer a pool or something, but POP is not very big. I was in a preferred room once, due to late booking, where only preferred rooms were left.

I liked the location of our preferred room. Close to parking, main building and food court and busing. For us it was worth the extra.
