AK at night

For the night time festivities at AK, when is that supposed to start, also is it seasonal, I'm going in Jan and AK closes at 5 every day we are there.

That's the way it was originally listed for September/October as well. Now the park is listed as closing at 7:30 pm every day so what you are seeing now may change.

At 5 in Florida in January, it's going to be pretty dark...

Disney is forcing AK to be a full day park, I expect them to try to push it more and more. They can't have three 1/2 day parks and expect people to pay the admission prices they are asking.
