Default Another of the unending Fast Pass + questions

When we go to WDW in September, we are going to be flying Non-Rev so we don't know exactly what time we are going to there.

So, if we want to make FP+ reservations, we may have to change them if we don't make it to the MK in time for them.

How difficult is this to accomplish?

It isn't hard to change them at all. The issue may be what attractions still have FP+ times free. There will still be something, it just might not be the headliner rides, or something that you really want.

I've been going in to see if I can change a couple of FP+ times that aren't exactly what I was hoping for, and I'm finding that "other" good time aren't available either. However, the actual steps required to change the FP+ time/attraction seems to be quite easy.

I'm assuming you're already making them for later in the day, and if you're later than you expect, you can make the changes while you wait at the airport.

We are hoping to get on the 6:30 AM flight out of BWI. If we can, we will be in MCO before 9 AM and hopefully to WDW by 9:30-45. We would need to check in to get our Magic Bands, etc but then in the parks by 11 AM.

If that fails, it wouldn't be until almost 3 PM before we would get there depending on what flight we are able to use.

I always suggest do not make any plans within three hours of landing. Especially true for TS locations, since you will be charged now if you don't show.

No harm if you miss a FP, missed FP doesn't prevent you from getting a 4th or 5th after the third expires, but it might be better to get guaranteed FPs for later in the day and take your chances with standby if you get there earlier in the day.

There's no guarantee of getting a FP as a 4th or 5th for an attraction that you actually want. Most of the "good" ones will probably be long gone.

RBrooksC good luck getting to WDW by 11:00am. The best we have done, leaving out of BWI at 6:30am, is being at a park by 1:00pm.

We plan for dinners around 5 or so. That gives us plenty of time to get to the park and make our ADR's. One never knows what kind of a delay you will run into.

Well, we won't be checking bags and we are renting a car. Since we are doing National, we can go right to the garage to get the car so we can be driving not long after we arrive in MCO.

And, if getting on the 6:30 AM flight means I have to fly as a 4th Flight Attendant, I will do that. It means no nap on the plane but we do get there early.

I am hoping that the early September flight means, the load won't be pushing 143.

I would go with what another poster suggested and make FP times for later in the afternoon, then you know you have a spot for the top things. Do other "less popular" rides first when you get there. Or...you could get lucky and fall into a lull in the standby line for the big ones, and then you could either ride a second time via FP or change it to something else that is available.
