Driving time from AK to HS?

How long does it take to get from AK to HS? We have Fantasmic Dining Package reservations at 6:20 on a Friday. How much time should we allow for leaving AK, getting out of parking lot, driving to HS, parking and then getting to restaurant by reservation time?

I would recommend start leaving AK at least 1 hour ahead of time. This should give you plenty of time for slow trams, taking a wrong turn, etc. You may want to consider taking the bus though. This would eliminate slow trams/finding parking.

I always recommend *at least* an hour's travel time between parks and resort. That said, Animal Kingdom is (generally) only open until 5:00pm anyways, so leaving AK at 5:00 will get you to Studios fairly early. It's only about a ten-minute drive from parking lot to parking lot. It's also gonna depend on what restaurant you're eating at; that will take you anywheres from about five minutes to fifteen minutes just from going through the turnstile at Studios.

Are you driving your own vehicle, or using Disney transportation? That makes a difference as well.
