I am having fun reading your trip reports since you were there the same time as me and staying in the same resort and jambo house. Love it! I also think we had the same savannah view! The giraffes laid under the balcony at night. That is where my son sang them to sleep.

What a lovely day at Epcot, and such a nice ending, sitting out on the porch at AKL... we LOVED that, it was such a nice way to relax. Sounds like your trip is off to a great start!

To bad about Garden Grill. We've only dined her once, but it was excellent!

Don't you just hate when people do that with the strollers??? We've seen people have their strollers take up a whole two seats while others stand. Glad the bus drive got everything situated so more people could enter the bus.

First off, I was extremely jealous while reading about your room, particularly the giraffes, but also your views of Everest, Blizzard Beach, and the partial view of Epcot fireworks! Very jealous of all of it, well, except for the attempted room invasion...

I found your review of Garden Grill intriguing, despite the sub-par food. I had a breakfast here once and loved it. I'd love for my kids to get a dinner with Chip and Dale. I might have to put it on the agenda for next trip.
