If you
don't take time to explore, you may miss one of the most interesting
countries in World Showcase. Here in Canada, you will find a waterfall,
rapidly flowing stream, lavish and lush gardens, rocky canyon and even it's
own mountain range! Northwest Mercantile is lone shop here, featuring cold
weather clothing, totem souvenirs, and maple candy.
Also here
you will find the Circle Vision 360 (the projection surrounds you) film "O
Canada." As with all other Circle Vision films, there are no seats which
means you will stand or lean against the individual row railings for support
for the length of this 17 minute film. It is worth it as the film provides
some incredible imagery about this fascinating country. Beautiful, EH?
In late 2014, the beloved performance group Off Kilter was replaced by a new
show featuring Canadian Lumberjacks. This questionable show features a log
rolling, axe throwing, chainsaw weilding troupe of lumberjacks. The noise
pollution from this show destroys the atmosphere in World Showcase all the
way through the UK Pavilion. We hope this show is short lived.
Dining
Canadians apparently don't eat much, but when they do, they eat steak! Le
Cellier Steakhouse ("the cellar") is a signature dining spot that is among
the most popular in the park. Dark and cool, this spot feels great on a hot
day, but tables are very close together, making privacy hard to come by.
