In 2012, Disney welcomed its first guests to the Art of Animation resort, a celebration of the colorful world of Disney feature animation. Expanding upon a new concept in family accomodations, the Family Suite, the Art of Animation resort quickly became the most popular Value resort on property.

Boasting both family suites and standard guest rooms, the 1,984 room resort has the largest guest capacity of any Walt Disney World resort. This place is huge! There are 1,120 family suites, each able to sleep up to 6 adults and 864 standard rooms that accommodate 4 adults. Featuring the largest pool on Disney property, the Art of Animation offers big fun for everyone!

Accommodations:

The Art of Animation has Family Suites in three immersively themed categories: Cars, Finding Nemo, and Lion King. Standard rooms are Little Mermaid themed. Family Suite buildings feature enclosed hallways with indoor elevators. The Little Mermaid section is set up motel-style, with outdoor walkways and staircases (elevators are available as well).

What can I expect to pay for a room?
Room rates range from $114-$201 per night for Little Mermaid Standard Rooms. Family Suites range from $277-$464. Rates fluctuate based on season and are higher on weekends and holidays.

Room Size: 565 square feet

Number of beds: Queen Sized Bed in bedroom; double wall pull down bed, double sleeper sofa (sleeps 6 adults)

Features of Room: dining table and 4 chairs, sofa and coffee table, kitchenette featuring microwave and refrigerator plus paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils, coffee maker,  a small safe, two flat panel TVs, 2 dressers, 2 clock radios, in room safe, in room Wi-Fi (free), 2 hairdryers (wall mounted) 

Iron, ironing boards, and pack and plays are available upon request from housekeeping. 

Bathrooms: Vanity area with sink and separate bathroom with tub in living area; full bathroom with stand up shower stall in main bedroom

Balcony: No

Occupancy: Maximum six-person occupancy per room. If there are more than 2 adults in a room, there is an additional charge of $10 per adult, per night.

Standard Rooms: Little Mermaid Theme

Size of Rooms: 277 square feet

Number of beds: 2 double beds. King bed rooms are availalble.

Features of Room: Small table with 2 chairs, refrigerator, a TV, a dresser and a clock radio, in room safe, in room Wi-Fi (free), hairdryer (wall mounted)

Iron, ironing boards, and pack and plays  are available upon request from housekeeping.

Landscape of Flavors Food Court
Hours: 6:00AM-12:00AM
With the opening of Art of Animation, Disney also introduced a new concept in Food Courts. The Landscape of Flavors food court offers much more variety and customization options at its stations. Guests can enjoy Mongolian BBQ, custom made smoothies and yogurt parfaits, pasta dishes, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and pizza. Almost every item is made to order and can be made according to the guests preferences.
