Cinderella Castle Shimmers For The Holidays
Shimmering
lights illuminate Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom during the holidays at
Walt Disney World Resort. The Magic Kingdom icon is bathed in more than
200,000 tiny white lights that add a special sparkle to the season. These
lights are attached to more than 40,000 square feet of fisherman’s net dyed
to specifically match the colors of the castle. After the lights are hooked
up on the nets, they’re programmed and tested and then written into lighting
cues for the shows.
