Living Seas
Pavilion Reopens
After
going down for extensive renovations in June, the Living Seas in Epcot’s
Future World has resumed operations. Guests now enter and exit through the
former exit of the pavilion.
This dual
entrance/exit appears to be temporary,
as a portion of the pavilion is still under construction.
Upon entering visitors will find a new passage area with a gift shop to one
side. Beyond this section is the newly refurbished SeaBase. All existing
exhibits prior to the refurbishment remain unchanged and no new displays
have been added.

The Walt Disney
Co. and Siemens AG have signed a 12-year agreement that will allow the
electronics and engineering company to expand its existing relationship with
several areas of Disney, including the branding of some Walt Disney World
attractions. The agreement gives Siemens marketing and promotional rights,
attraction sponsorships and a promotional presence that features Siemens
products and services at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland
Resort in California. Siemens will sponsor the Epcot attraction "Spaceship
Earth," as well as Epcot's nightly fireworks show, "Illuminations:
Reflections of Earth." New attractions to be incorporated into the
Innoventions areas, a smaller cluster of exhibits at Epcot and Disneyland
Resort, are also planned, but no specifics were announced. In addition, the
Sylvania lighting division of Siemens will sponsor Disney-MGM Studios'
holiday light show, the "Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights," as well as
"Disney's Electrical Parade" and "Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams" at
