Small
World To Undergo Extensive Rehab
It's A Small World
will go down for an extensive rehab beginning Sunday, May 2 and
lasting nearly a year. The attraction was originally created for
the 1964 World's Fair in New York and is one of the Magic Kingdom's
original attractions. The rehab will consist of painting and
repairing the Animatronics figures, replacing the sound system and
lights. "It's A Small World" is tentatively scheduled to reopen
March 18, 2005.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Opens Today
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival begins today and
will continue through June 6th, 2004. New this year are topiary
displays celebrating the current Walt Disney World Magical
Gatherings program. Davy Jones will kick off the Flower Power
Concert Series at the American Gardens Theatre. Other highlights
include a WaterFULL World Garden, a "see and sniff" Fragrance Garden
at the France pavilion, Disney's DogGone Maze and much more. The
special event is included in regular Epcot admission.

Night Of Joy
Due to early sellouts, Walt Disney World has added a third night to
the 2004 Night of Joy schedule. The event will showcase the largest
lineup of contemporary Christian music talent in its 22 year
history. 24 acts will be spread over three consecutive evenings
beginning September 9, 10 & 11. Michael W. Smith kicks off Night of
Joy on Thursday, September 9th. Advance tickets go on sale April 21,
2004.
