Downtown Disney to Get New
Store
Disney and Hasbro will co-develop a 16,000-square-foot toy store
located in Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney Marketplace. The store
will feature whimsical Disney and Hasbro toy and games icons,
interactive areas and other surprises for guests.

Pop Century Resort to
Feature Hasbro Toys & Games
Icons based on popular Hasbro toys and games will be featured in
large-scale formats at Disney's 5,760-room Pop Century resort, which
will begin opening at Walt Disney World Resort in December 2001. The
resort will incorporate popular cultural icons from each decade of the
20th century, and will feature an outsized PLAY-DOH can, human-sized
MR. POTATO HEAD and MRS. POTATO HEAD, an enormous MONOPOLY courtyard
and other icons from Hasbro's most famous brands.

Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights Announced
Disney
has officially announced its E-Ride schedule. October 6, 13 & 20
(9pm-12am) and 3, 9 & 16 (7pm-10pm).
E-Ride Nights are an
exclusive "private party" in the Magic Kingdom for a limited number of
Walt Disney World Resort Guests.

Millionaire coming to Disney
MGM Studios
It
appears that Disney's Imagineers will be taking advantage of the
popularity of ABC's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire by planning an
attraction based on the game show. The show is expected to open next
year in the Sound Studios section of Disney-MGM Studios and would be
true to the original game show with one exception... guests are
expected to win prizes rather than cash.

Classic At Walt Disney World Challenges Tiger!
The Walt
Disney World Magnolia and Palm Championship courses play host to the
the National Car Rental Golf Classic Oct. 26-29. Tiger woods will be
there to defend his 1999 Title of the event. A field of 144 top PGA
TOUR players will head to the tees in the 30th edition of this fall
Classic.

Walt
Disney World Millennium Celebration Takes to the Skies
As part of its year-long millennium celebration, The Walt Disney World
Resort is touring major American cities with a hot-air balloon "sky
spectacular". This giant, 80-foot-tall hot-air balloon is in the
shape of Spaceship Earth, Epcot’s breathtaking icon for the Florida
celebration.
