Tickets Now Available for Some 2008 Pirate and Princess Party Dates

The Walt Disney World resort has announced that tickets are now available (as of 10/31/07) for 2008 Pirate & Princess Party events on the following dates:

January 21, 26, and 29

February 2, 5, 9, 14, 22, and 26

March 1, 6, 11 and 14

Tickets for party dates beyond March 14th are expected to go on sale at a later date.

I got an AP email yesterday that announced it. I purchased my tickets a little while ago for Jan. 21. For 2 adults the price was $75.32 (tax, shipping, and processing). This will be my first P&P party. It sounds like fun.

Is there Wishes on these nights? What time does the park close for P&P Parties then?

On P&P nights, the park closes to day Guests at 7pm. You have to have a seperate ticket and wristband to stay in the park, and we are extremely efficient at getting people out who don't have one. It takes roughly an hour to clear all day Guests and if they try stay later, they will be escorted out by a CM. There are no Wishes, but there will be a fireworks show called "Music, Magic and Mayhem" as well as a parade called "Disney's Enchanted Dreams Parade" that is only for party Guests. If you aren't going to the parties, you can watch the fireworks from the CR 4th floor Balcony.

The fireworks are amazing, and I think they are better than Hallowishes. A lot better.

I have never been to WDW and I am going in January for the first time and they are having one of the Pirate and Princess parties while I am there. Is it worth going to if you do not have children and can you dress up if you are an adult and if so do most people dress up?

Went to the very 1st P&P party in Jan. of '07. The fireworks alone are worth the price of admission! I was at WDW for a conference so the wife and kids weren't with me, but they will be this year. Glad they put the party back on the calendar as we'll all be going in Feb of '08!

Does anyone have any "inside" information on if the Princess and Pirate parties will be going on during April 1st & 4th? That's when we're going and I really am hoping that the dates of the parties will be extended to include these days as well. At one time there was talk of April parties on the discussion board, but now all has gone silent with the posting of the dates for Jan, Feb, and March. Can anyone share an update on April?
