We are coming down in June to celebrate my husband's bday. I was told that I can call 407-939-2329 90 days prior. Which bday package do you recommend?
We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If I call and tell them that it is his bday, will they have something special in the room when we get there?
Just looking for ideas.
Thanks.

We will also be down in June celebrating DD's bday. From what I've been reading on here (for the last year+), there is no specific "birthday package" you can order.
Mention it when you make your reservations (hotel & dining), and when you check in (hotel & dining) and you (he) *MAY* get a surprise.
Also, you can go to guest services in each park and get a birthday button. I've heard wearing those buttons sometimes gets people special attention.

MK, AK, and EPCOT each have a different birthday button design. MGM uses the same design as MK.
The birthday button often gets you special birthday greetings from CMs, and maybe little extras here and there. It really just depends on the CMs.
At Disneyland/California Adventure two years ago, they had birthday stickers. A street band sang me "Happy Birthday," I got a free package of tortillas and a recipe book at the Mission Tortilla factory, and I got a dessert with birthday wishes written in chocolate sauce on the plate, as well as lots of good wishes. WDW last year wasn't quite as fun, but the CMs often wished me happy birthday.

Definately get the button on his b-day. I did this for my wife for her birthday last month. It was great! LOTS of attention in the MK. The mayor made a special trip over to see her first thing in the morning. CM's all day long wished her happy birthday and sang to her. One cm gave us fastpasses 3 rides in a row (actually she gave them to us 1st trip through, then didn't collect them until we'd ridden 3 times). At lunch and dinner, the waiters got everyone's attention in the restaurant and sang "Happy Birthday". It was a lot of fun - she had a ball. I've heard you can call and request a special happy b-day wake up call too (but I didn't know about that at the time).
I hope he has a great time for his b-day!

Birthday buttons are a real blast. I got attention all day long and free cake at LeCelliers and at Cinderellas castle

Buttons are a must! We celebrated a friend's birthday at MGM/Epcot & while in a shop a CM noticed his button. Our friend was browsing, and the CM slyly asked us his name. A few minutes later, the CM yelled "I have a phone call for Frank!"... our friend took the phone and it was Mickey wishing him happy birthday. I have never seen a 30-year-old man so thrilled to get a phone call! We got cake at LeCellier that day, too. My DM also had balloons attached to an autograhed picture of Mickey waiting for me in my room one year... she checked in before us, though, so I'm not sure who she called or when to make that happen. Maybe she'll read this and offer some insight?...
Off to graze around the world on 11/10/07!

I believe all you have to do is inform the CM at check-in. When I checked-in, I had originally asked for a 'birthday' wake-up call but didn't know what time would have been acceptable for the birthday girl. So, the CM suggested the birthday balloons. The check-in and guest services desks are very helpful with special events.
After reading a lot of overheated puffery about your new cook, you know what I'm craving? A little perspective. That's it. I'd like some fresh, clear, well seasoned perspective. Can you suggest a good wine to go with that?

I've been at Disney for my daughter's birthday and my hubby's... nothing special was done by Disney. They did wear birthday pins, but again nothing really.
Going to WDW again...

19 trips to WDW and counting!!

We were at Disney for my daughters birthday. We got the birthday pin at City Hall in Magic KIngdom. When the Barbershop Quartet on Main Street saw her birthday pin they pulld her over and sang Happy Birthday to her, it was so cool. they also allowed her to ride up front on the monorail. When we got to the hotel room there was a bouquet of balloons and a signed card from Chip & Dale, her favorite characters. Definetly mention the birthday at check in. Nothing better then celebrating a birthday at Disney.
