Extra evening time with Deluxe hotels
Does anyone know exactly how much extra time Deluxe resort guests get in the evenings?

Right now, it is 2 hours, most often 9pm - 11pm. The current schedule can be found at this link.

Can tell you that the extra time in the morning allowed me and my son to hop standby at Rise of the Resistance and we were on board in less than 15 minutes. Then we did standby on Smugglers Run which was more like 35/40 - but still - got the star wars experience taken care of first thing in the morning without too much stress at all...

Thanks for that info, John. I have two mornings planned for DHS and hope to hit both rides in the 1/2 hour on both days!

Thank you so much for that info John! We're going later this year and we looked at the deluxe resorts. The price did not seem worth it, so we're opting to stay at AoA, our new usual. However, we always get a family suite because the two bathrooms are worth their weight in gold, and I just now checked prices and - holy cow!! They've certainly gone up a bit. I very much miss the days when we could go off season.

We stayed at the Poly last week in a DVC standard room. It was nice. Sleeps five, and has TWO showers/sinks. Only one toilet, though. But still! It just might rival a Family Suite at a Value. And it's a heck of a lot closer to the parks. With better pools. And we got to take advantage of those extra evening hours. Used them, too. It was really awesome.

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

What was the price difference? Or are you members and used points?

We were there January 16-23. We stayed at the Polynesian and made very good use of those two extra magic hours. Monday was at EPCOT and Wednesday was at the Magic Kingdom. Since the new restrictions on park hopping, we haven't paid extra for that so I scheduled our parks around the extra magic hour schedule. The parks were crowded at the beginning of our trip so those two extra hours were well worth it! I still miss the old E-Ride nights, but Disney would probably price us out of those. I have an old photo of my nephew standing by the Polynesian monorail hours sign when it said "Monorail hours from 5am-3am." Those days are gone!

So the extra evening hours weren't at every park every night? I'm assuming they're on the calendar?

Which deluxe rooms have two showers? I can't tell by looking at the site.

Before we went I looked at the park hour calendars for a few months. For as long as I could see the hours were consistent, 2 hours at the Magic Kingdom every Wednesday and 2 hours at EPCOT every Monday.
