Resort in the 90s
My coworker remembers staying at a Disney World hotel that was little houses that had breakfast and dinner with Disney characters. Does anyone know which resort this could be?
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Probably either treehouses villas or fort wilderness cabins

"At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, guests can roast marshmallows with Disney characters during Chip ‘N Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, a nightly event that culminates with a classic Disney movie in a theater under the stars. This free event, which features a 30-minute fire lighting ceremony, rousing group renditions of favorite camp songs and appearances by Chip and Dale, is open to all Walt Disney World guests, not just those staying at the campground."

Every day there is sad news, but each day itself is glad news.----Found in fortune cookie at Nine Dragons Restaurant in Epcot while having lunch during INTERCOT's 10th Anniversary Meet

I am thinking it is probably the cabins at Fort Wilderness and they went to the Sing along campfire and movie too. I have been going since I was a little kid and stayed at most places and roamed all around all the resorts and grounds over the years and the only thing I can think of that could be what she is talking about is Fort Wilderness and the cabins.

Have a blast there. As hope you all enjoy. As a kid in the 1990's well early to mid.
June and Summertime!

I showed her the cabins, but she said that wasn't it. She said each house had a separate character name. She also said it was through Make A Wish, so even thought it was called a "Disney resort" I am wondering if it was something else.

It could be Give Kids the World if it was through Make-a-Wish.

I do know that in the early 90s, there was a character breakfast at Fort Wilderness. It was held in Pioneer Hall, and featured Melvin the Moose. I remember we all yelled "Wake uo, you silly moose!" and got kazoos.
