Finally!!!!
Recap: On 1/1/2020 I was working at IOA. I fell and broke my right wrist. February 24th I had left shoulder surgery. Figured it would have time to heal while I was out on worker’s compensation. Then COVID 19 hit and the parks closed. More healing time.
Well since Universal/ IOA and Volcano Bay is open I was hoping to be released to return to work. I had my ortho appointment today. On the way home I got the call back from the supervisor. I’ll be on light duty in park services (custodial), my regular position. I’m assigned to the escalator that takes you to the main level. I’ll be sanitizing the hand rails... easy and protects from the sun / rain. May be boring but it beats sitting at home. It also keeps social distancing from the public. I am glad and excited to return to work. Just need to stop at wardrobe to get my masks.

WONDERFUL!!! I work in retail pharmacy so didn't have time off but I know I would have gone crazy!!! We cancelled out August trip, for obvious reasons. I have a solo trip rescheduled from April to November. I'm anxious to see if I will reschedule again. I'm hearing less perks but more money.
My cousin works at Universal in the financial office and went back to work June 1. She's thrilled to be back to work also. Good luck.

It went well... I was tired and my feet and back ached. Six months in a recliner will do that to you. The job was easy and not physically demanding. Everyone was thanking me for sanitizing the handrails. It was good to see all my co worker’s again.
Thanks for asking how it went.
I’ll post pictures on IG Marciuniversal

Getting back to work/your routine is the best healing medicine!
Be safe and stay cool.
