WDW Weather Forecast August 18-25th??
So it looks like it is going to be hot and stormy for our entire trip. Anyone else headed down next week? Have any insight on the weather? I am planning on taking disposable ponchos and trying to weather-proof ourselves. I also got some awesome electrolyte tabs- Nuun brand...they are great for travel and so easy to pop in a cup of water.
I really miss StormChaser...he always had the best advice and brilliant weather forecasts and was so kind, always. I always relied upon him while planning my trips. I hope he knows what an impact he had on this community.

I miss Chris too! There are so many things I won't forget, including him talking me through "hurricane" Hermine a few years ago.
We're heading down next week too, and I figure August is always hot and rainy. In our previous trip experience, the rain doesn't last too long, so being prepared to traipse through it is the only idea.

We are headed down next week as well. Our plan is to sweat it out!! Oh and when it rains, we hit the parks!
No ponchos for us, they just make me hot and miserable. We got a couple of umbrellas from the local dollar store, if anything happens to them no problem since we only paid $4 for them.
It is the following week that has us concerned since we are hopping on the Disney Fantasy. Really don't feel like hitting the high seas with any storms!

It's been the usual Florida summer weather here. This past week has been high humidity and there have been heat advisory warnings. The rain hasn't been too bad. Just stay hydrated!

August in Florida is known for heat, humidity, and the Eifel Tower! (with an occasional hurricane thrown in the mix)
I recommend bringing ziplock baggies to put valuables in. I prefer the quart size myself (not too big, not too small). Maybe bring extra socks if you wear shoes with socks. I also like to have a washcloth on hand just to wipe down occasionally.

It's been a while since we've been in the summer. I'm planning on wearing athletic shorts/ tops and Chaco's, and I usually get those disposable ponchos that we can just throw away after the rain. They are pretty lightweight and easy to pack. Have fun on your trip! Hopefully we'll get some good weather!
