I'm trying to come up with a plan for my son's graduation trip. Currently looking at 3 night cruise on the Dream and 4 nights at WDW. For those that have done this, do you prefer the cruise first and parks second or parks first cruise second?
I think it's really a personal preference. A few years ago, we spent one night at Disney prior to a Disney cruise and then a few nights at Universal after the cruise. Each aspect of the trip was enjoyable, but different and I don't feel it would have been better one way or the other.

We are doing a combo trip on 2018. We decided to do park first and cruise second. The thought being that we can be on the crowds and the rush while we are energized at the start of vacation. And the take 3 days to be mellow and chill.
Our family very much prefers cruise first and then park. With all the over-eating we do on the cruise, it gives us a few days to walk some of it off at the parks!
When we had to decide this we did Cruise first. Not only because we have some in our party with weak stomachs, so going frqa Cruise ship to an airplane was not appealing. But also we just felt this was an extension of a vacation.
