How hard is it usually to change from a king bed to 2 queens?
In your experience, how hard is it to change from a king bed to 2 queens at a Moderate resort? All the rooms with queen beds are booked up right now but I keep checking daily to see if something opens up... I'm crossing fingers!

This is a tough to answer question -it all depends on who cancels and releases their reservation. There are far more queen rooms, so it should be easier to move to the queens than to the king.
Especially around the 30-day mark, when payment for packages is due, I'd check often.
I got lucky today and a Royal Guest Room (2 queen beds) at POR opened up! With my Passholder discount, it was about the same price as a King. Yay!

With things like this, the key is to keep checking back. People cancel and alter plans all the time. What isn't available on the Monday may be available on Tuesday.
Same thing with hard to get dining reservations.
Persistence.
