MK 7P Closing Aug 25 & 29
Today was my day to make ADR and I noticed MK closing at 7P on Friday 8/25 (we had planned to do CG) and Tuesday 8/29. My guess is they're starting MNSSHP ?? A bit early IMO.

Yikes, that it way too early. Maybe they will announce the Halloween and Christmas party schedules soon?

I think they did start MNSSHP in August last year. Sounds like it with a 7pm closing. And honestly, that's just ridiculous.

A couple of years ago we did a MNSSHP the week before Labour Day. It seems that they want to maximize the amount of available party nights for this VERY popular event.

The first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for 2016 was held on September 2.
That would only be about a week earlier for 2017, but that seems like really supersaturating the market to start the Halloween season in August.
At what point due they lose the "special" and "exclusive" justification for their price point?

I think August is TOO early.
However, as someone who can't visit in Sept to Nov due to my job, I am kind of excited that we might get to try this this yr.
If we spend the day at Epcot, can we purchase tix to MNSSHP and go in the evening, or do we have to be at MK that day?

Your Halloween party ticket entitles you to enter Mk beginning at 4pm. You don't need to be there all day.

It doesn't really surprise me that they might start doing MNSSHP in late August. The Halloween stores in my area open the last week of August, which I've always liked because my birthday is Aug 29th. I totally dig getting Halloween decorations as B-Day gifts, haha.

My guess is that it's for a private event (that's too early for MNSSHP)
