2015 Christmas Trip Report - Travel day

Our travel party consists of DW Janice, DS's Andrew & Bryan 21 & 19 and myself. We are experienced Disney travelers (15+ trips) and our only other December trip was 15 years ago and it was early in Dec. This will be our first time during the busy Christmas week.
Since I had to work today we booked an 8:30PM flight. We spent the day watching the weather elsewhere as our plane was coming from Denver to Chicago before getting to us in Pittsburgh then off to Orlando. Earlier in the week some flights were delayed hours because off bad weather in one of those cities. Luckily today all was good and out plane would only be 10 minutes late in arriving in Pittsburgh.
We departed from home at 5:15pm but not before a little hiccup as we discovered we didn't have our AP's that from our May trip. We searched for 15 minutes but were unable to find them so we left without them. I figured the only thing we would need them for was to show for any discounts as they were on our magic bands for park entrance. Traffic was heavy driving to the airport but we arrived, checked our bags, got through security and still had time for dinner at McDonalds. We were at the gate with 30 minutes to spare.
We landed around 11:00pm and because of the late hour we had to head to baggage claim where we waited 15 minutes to pick up our luggage. Then it was back up to the 3rd level, across to side B and down to ME. A quick swipe of our MB's and onto the bus we went but then we waited 20 minutes for it to fill up a little more. We were staying at the AS Movies and it was the 3rd drop off stop around midnight. We were waited on right away as nobody else was checking in this late and since we had done online check-in we were off to our room in the Mighty Ducks section quickly. I had faxed a room request a few days earlier and we got everything requested.
We unpacked and put up some of the Christmas decorations we brought along to make the room feel more festive. We were in bed by 1:00am as we planned on being up by 7:30am for a visit to HS, Disney Springs and PO to see Yee Haa Bob.
