Innoventions West is where The Great Piggy Bank Adventure, Where's the Fire? and Play it Safe were.
It also held the Disney Visa holders character photo opportunity - anyone know where that moved, or if it did at all?

Last time I passed by it was only for the Disney Visa meet and greet. That was on 5/30.

You mean the building is still open?

Yes the building was still open, you can still walk the pathways, but there are walls up covering up all of the former experiences. It's kind of a weird feeling to walk through there with it like that.

It is a reminder of the closed imagination playground on the second floor of the imagination pavilion. I am not sure why but it bothers me that Disney has empty areas and construction walls around. I would think with the vast imagination power of the imagineers that they could envision something that could fill the empty spaces so there are gaps in magic.
The second floor to the imagination pavilion was IMHO a very magical place.
EPCOT needs some major TLC as does the studios but that is another story!

Would really like to hear what you have to say, Lynn. We have friends who will be first-time guests in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to give them some advice if they need to avoid anything.

It is not the Imagineers... Management is too concerned about bottom lines and spreadsheet forecasts...
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...
TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...
BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Exactly
Bottom lines are now taking away what was once exclusive to Disney-magic and good show. Magic was what separated them from other theme parks.Once you did not see construction vehicles or broken anamatronics they would not put on a bad "Show". Now it is becoming more common.
