    Default Memory Maker

Is the Memory Maker worth buying? Its just me, my husband and 5 year old son going. We always take tons of pictures so I just wasn't sure if this would be worth it for us. Are the photographers easy to locate?

I wondered the same thing. It will be just me and my husband. But I do like the idea having nice pics of us together.

We have used them twice. The photographers are easy to find! We love using them! Our last CD had over 400 pictures on it. Ask photographers for any special effects they have at their locale. You will be surprised with what you get

Also consider if you want ride photos since they are included. For what we do I believe it will make it worth the cost. If you don't want ride photos and don't care about doing special pictures then you can always ask the CMs to take pictures using your camera.

Memory Maker replaced Photopass. Differences are it is more expensive but it does include the ride photos. However, you no longer get a CD mailed to you and must download the pics unless you spend extra for the CD.

We always did the Photopass CD and are doing Memory Maker now. It's the only way I seem to get included in the pictures. Otherwise I'm always behind the camera

You can find information on where to have pictures taken on the Disney site.

I don't want to sound like I'm cheating the system, so if I break any intercot rules please delete this...

Ithe past, I would use photopass and then when I got home, I would look at my pictures online and just take a screenshot of the computer screen. The images were not watermarked, and although they weren't the highest of quality, it still did the trick.

Does anyone know if the preview photos of Magic Maker that you view online are watermarked at all?

Are there enough photographers around or do you have to wait in long lines? I just don't want to spend alot of our day waiting in line to take pictures.

Sometimes there's a wait; other times, the photographer is just standing around waiting for someone to get their picture(s) taken. When we did it we would just bypass anyone who had a line.

maybe a stupid question but when we say "ride photos" - we mean the pix of US on the ride... not the generic, perfect pix of landscapes, etc., right?

If yes, is this the key difference btwn Memory Maker and Photo Pass?

Interesting that they changed the name as Photo Pass and Fast Pass kind of go together.....

Yes, you get the ride photos of you on the ride (The photo may also include other, unrelated people who are sharing the ride with you). This, of course, is only available for those ride that have ride pictures.

OK one last question. I purchased the Memory Maker and linked it to my reservations in My Disney Experience. It shows up online but not on my iphone or iPad. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it didn;t work. Did this happen to anyone else?
