2014 Dining plan options reduced??
Has anyone else noticed that the Table-Service options for 2014 have been cut. 2/3 of Epcot's and AK choices are gone as well as all of Downtown Disney. Raise the price and cut the options??? This is so disappointing! Hopefully I'm just looking at it wrong.

This happens every year. Disney publishes the flyer before all the restaurants have actually signed up to be included. Consequently, it appears that the number of restaurants has been reduced, when in reality it's just a matter of timing. At the time of printing, the one's listed were the only ones to sign up (generally Disney owned and operated ones). The others hadn't signed the agreements yet.
Don't worry, they have/will.

Good to know. Thank you for responding. I will be booking for May soon so I will keep an eye on it.

Steve's right. This question comes up every year at this time, and the list of participating restaurants inevitably ends up the same or very close year after year. It takes some time for all the confirmations to come in, but they do.

I wish Disney would deal with this differently. Every year people worry and wonder who will actually be on the DDP. I understand that it is all about the contracts, and that some may not sign, but I hate the worry it causes people.

Yet another reason in the long list of reasons to not consider the DDP.

Where is the new/most recent list? I just want to make sure my ADRs match up with the dining plan. Thanks

The 2014 brochure can be found here.
I'd expect that any "missing" locations will be added very shortly, so I wouldn't change any plans at this point.

We are happy with TIW in place of DDP, as long as we qualify for TIW.

Exactly. If you dont like the offering's then send them a message and don't use it
Too many trips to keep track of now! Vacation WDW twice a year so any questions ask freely ☺️

Just remember that there are restaurants that don't take the TIW card also.....Teppan Edo, Yak & Yeti, Rainforest Café, T Rex, and most counter service. Not sure if I am forgetting any.

Just FYI - the dining plan options were updated (just like everyone said). You can see them under the 2014 dining plan link. Thanks for all the responses.

La Hacienda does not take TiW either. All of the restaurants mentioned are participating in the DDP.
