Newbie and how to pay maintenance fee

I just bought in 2013 on the resale market and dues were paid for all of 2013.

Will I get a bill in the mail for 2014 from Disney or do I just log into my account and see the amount due that way?

Also I thought I read someplace that you can pay your dues monthly from auto debit to your checking account. If I choose that option are there extra fees involved? Or, on the other hand is there any incentive to pay the dues for the year right away in January?

The 2014 dues are posted and you should be able to see them on your account. You can set it up for direct debit and there is no extra charge. Give MS accounting a call on Thursday and they will tell you what to do. If I remember correctly I had to send a letter with a voided check to them. It took them about 2 weeks to process so you may have to pay by check for January.

Some people prefer to pay the total dues in January using a credit card so they can get points. I'm one of those that prefers to keep my money until it's due.

Thank you! I'm glad I thought to ask I guess once you have dvc for awhile it's just routine to pay but I'm really surprised they never sent me anything.

I am a newbie also and they won't send you anything except a statement in the mail. If you can pay all your maintenance fees at once you can go to the website and do so. If like me you need to make payments you will have to call. They will give the fax number and then you fax them a voided check with your contract number. After that the money will be automatically deducted on the 15th of the month. I faxed mine in 2 days ago and will be calling them today to make sure it's set up right. Hope this helps

My auto pay for my dues are deducted from my checking account in Jan. on the 15th and for the rest of the year on the first.

I went online and paid my dues last Friday. Yesterday I received in the mail a statement on paying. So they must still send statements.
