    Default Just back......

Just back from one week.....dec 20 - 27th in disney! To start check in was a breeze and with a very pleasant cast member! The one thing that surprised us right away was there were no crowds as we walked to our building. The whole stay we only saw some crowds in the food court that was it! Our room was very clean and we had great housekeeping!! The grounds were wonderful as usual! It was great being able to walk around hourglass lake! The bus rides were fabulous ! The longest wait for a bus was about 10 mins!! We had the magic bands and the worked flawlessly!! Not one issue except for me losing my band! It was not an issue I just went to front desk and I was given another band. Now,,,,,,,,,as far as the parks go that's a whole different story! Crowds were AWFUL!!! But we did our homework and took advantage of extra magic hours and had a plan even before getting to the parks!! Being on Main Street and having it snow is something I will never ever forget, it was truly Magical I also will never forget standing in our spot to view wishes and shivering! The cold front came in that day and the temps were 42 with 25 mph winds!! I have never shivered in Florida! We have always said we will do Disney at Christmas time! We are happy to stick to coming to Disney in August!!

We had one December trip that was soooo cold- all of our pictures we were wrapped up in scarfs and coats and the kids in the strollers were covered in layers of blankets. Most of our December trips have been very nice weather- so don't give up on the fun holiday time to visit! Glad you had a good trip!

Glad you had a good trip. I still hope to spend Christmas at Disney, one of these years.

Everybody should do at least one Christmas trip, but I agree the crowds are horrendous

Your trip sounded like such fun. I love staying at Pop. Sorry you were frozen in Florida. December can be iffy. One time we were running around in shirt sleeves and the next day we were bundled up like Eskimos.

Glad you had a great time.

Sounds like you had a Very Merry Christmas in "Wonderland".
