Clearwater Beach

On our next trip to WDW we're going to take a day and drive to Clearwater Beach. Has anyone done this and what did you do?

We of course want to go to the beach and do a little sight seeing while there.

You can walk out on the fishing pier and there is also Caladesi Island State Park near by. Fort Desoto State Park is also close.
