MVMCP Sold Out 11/8
Has anyone been to a "sold out" party? What does this mean crowd wise and what should I expect? Thanks in advance.

We went to a sold out MVMCP in 2011... it meant long waits for everything that was open... we just walked around.

but you know, the Parades, cookies, hot chocolate and fireworks more than make up for the crowds… plus snow on main street is nice

Get your sorcers card at the fire station. If you don't play tell them you save them. Get them before you leave the park, the line will be shorter. Nov. party already sold out, amazing. It will be crowded. Was at a sold out one 2 years ago and was not happy. The parade is great, don't miss it.

Unbelievable that it sold out. Crowds are up at the moment. Not sure why, but people are all over WDW at the moment.
-
Realistically, you should only purchase these tickets because you want to enjoy the ambiance and the special parade and fireworks. Gone are the days where you could expect minimal wait times at the parties. The secret is out.

I second that. Attend the party for the special events, not as an E-ride night. You will have a better time if you go into it with that mindset.

Yep, it more about the ambiance now and can't beat snow on Main Street. I am still excited to be going!
And special cards for Sorcerers. Yay!

The year we went, they ran out of hot chocolate, cookies, and the parade started late for some reason. The crowds made the Cast Members extremely grouchy, not that I blame them.

Interesting. I am accustomed to early parties not getting close to selling out. I wonder if they sellout due to the lower prices.
