Valet parking at DTD

Starting on October 21st Disney Blog announced valet parking at DTD.

It i scheduled to run through January 1st. Here are the specifics:

• The service is offered 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. daily.
• Valet parking can be accessed via Entrance 4 at Downtown Disney West Side.
• The cost is $15 per vehicle and gratuity is accepted.
• When you’re ready to pick up your car, you can check in at the valet booth or text a designated number for speedy retrieval.

If you are a TIW member dining at DTD remember to present your receipt (3hour limit) and it will be complimentary.

Thanks. I just saw this information on a Disney news report pertaining to the construction there. The article I read also said they plan to build 2-3 bridges to allow folks to cross the street.

Reedy Creek's Disney-elected board of supervisors on Wednesday awarded a $246,000 contract to Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock Architects Inc. to design up to three bridges spanning Buena Vista Drive, the chronically congested road that runs alongside Downtown Disney.

Parking at DTD has long been chaos, and I'd think that this would be the best $15 I'd ever spend at Disney this fall.

We found on our last trip (POFQ) that the boat was much more packed than in the past ... and I'm thinking NO ONE wanted to drive and try and find a parking spot @ DTD.
