The Magic Strikes Again!

I have been unsuccessfully trying to get a reservation at BOG for several months but finally decided it wasn't going to happen this time. Wife and I arrived yesterday and as is our ritual, headed to DTD to enjoy the sunset and drinks at the Margarita Bar when I got an email from Disney inviting us to take part in a Fast Pass+ test of.... Be Our Guest!
Lunch is at 12:00 on Monday

Lunch went very well. We went by City Hall on Main Street when we arrived at the Magic Kingdom and picked up our rose. At 11:45 we walked past the eternal line (2+ hours) of people waiting to get in BOG and went right on in.

I had pre ordered the Ahi Tuna, DW had the vegetable tart. The food and atmosphere were good but nothing that I would stand in line more than 20 - 30 minutes for.

The fast pass plus for this was a pleasant last minute surprise but I can't see myself ever planning my menus months in advance.

Oh well... Off to Rose and Crown tonight for Guinness and Fish & Chips!!!!

We had the same thing happen in August. My DD who is a CM got her email request as we were in line for Peter Pan, we made it for two days later ....I would NEVER wait that crazy lunch line. We checked in at the kiosk they escorted us by everyone and in, I thought the people waiting were gonna throw stuff at us !! We also had the magic bands and they brought the food right to us ..... it was a great experience !!!
