Booking 180 days + 10 Need to call?
Tomorrow makes 190 days til our trip and it will say that I can book dining up to Dec. 6th (1st day of our trip) tomorrow. Yet, when I "try" it out for Dec. 5th it won't work. I tried for Nov. 24th and it worked. Oh, this is online. Do I need to call to start booking each day for Dec. 6th and on?? I don't want to wait and miss out. Help! Thanks!!

I sense a bit of confusion here. 180 +10 means that at 180 days out you can book up to 10 days not that you can book your first day 190 out. Sorry.

First, how many days is your trip? If your trip is 7 days long, you can book everything starting at 187 days, not 190, four days long, book at 184, etc..
Second, the Disney website will not let you "try it out" using the 180+10 benefit until you actually reach your designated "first day" booking window. The website will magically allow you to book 180+(1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10) on your opening day, but prior to that date the website looks as if the benefit will not work as the calendar will not go out far enough, but it will do it come 6am on D-Day. Just be sure you associate your Disney Online account with your Disney resort reservation confirmation number to get the calendar to open up for you.

Maybe I read the intent of your first statement wrong, but it seemed to confuse your second statement.
You can only begin booking at the 180 day mark from your ARRIVAL date. At that point, you can book up to 10 days AFTER your arrival date (with a valid reservation confirmation number)

Regardless of your trip length, you cannot book more than 180 days from your arrival.

Well now I have confused myself.
But you guys are correct in your clarification, I was thinking more along the lines of an 8 day trip giving you a chance at BOG at 188 days if you went on the last day of your trip to your "must do" reservation.
But I concur that the earliest is 180 days prior to your arrival date.
Sorry for the confusion.
PS: Oh my, I just looked back at my first post and I butchered that pretty bad.
