Default Big changes to Everything Pop Food Court Menu.

Some great additions but also some removals of favorites such as the Mom's Night Out Fried Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, and a change to the Chicken Penne Alfredo.

Looking forward to trying some of the new items.

It all depends on time of year & time of day. Breakfast hours are always a mess though.

I'm actually kinda mad about this. I have no issue with new items being introduced to the menu, but why get rid of things in the menu that were good and actually popular?!! My fiance and I LOVED the Fried Chicken and the Shrimp LoMein, and my fiance LOVED the chocolate chip pancakes and the Chicken Penne Alfredo......

...about it being busy, it's really a matter of time of year... I have been in there and had the place to myself, then others where you could hardly walk from the drink machines to the door !!!

Looks really good, thanks for the heads up! Only things I know we'll be missing are the individual pizzas and fried chicken.

From what I saw, the chicken penne alfredo is still available, but only for dinner.

Some of these menu items sound really weird.

What is a "spring roll in a bun?" Is it, literally, spring rolls in a hot dog bun or something?

That does sound weird. I am going to be at Pop tomorrow night. I'll try to check it out and report back.

I didn't have time to eat at Pop but I did check out the menu while my mom was getting some snacks. And yes the spring roll in a bun is a really spring roll on a hot dog type roll.

We were just there and now instead of individual pizzas they have french bread pizza.

I was very upset to find out upon arrival that they had changed the menu and I was looking forward to Mom's Tv dinner. That was part of the Pop culture, ya know? It just went with the theming of the hotel. I know they are trying to go healthy and they changed the menu more to match that of their new neighbor, Art of Animation. If I wanted to eat those foods I would walk across the bridge and get them.
    Sorry Just my Opinion.

The only change I'd be interested in is if they could change it so it doesn't look and feel like an absolute madhouse in the morning with wall to wall people.

....I agree completely. If you want "fancy" food ....seek out a "fancy" restaurant. We don't go to 50's Prime Time with the expectations of getting Roast Pheasant or Foie Gras. We go for food that meshes with the time period and the overall theme and time period ambiance....

....I will miss the Shrimp Lo Mein ...it was actually very good ..and a great value ....AND ....they would also make it as Vegetable Lo Mein for my vegetarian daughter.

...what I see on this menu is more of a shift towards "ethnic" offerings ....and items that might ...in a pinch .....be offered at AoA's food court. Perhaps ...and I say this as an educated guess ....POP has revised their menu in order to "keep" their guests at the resort ...and maybe discourage their knee-jerk decisions to cross the bridge to AoA in order to eat there? Maybe there was too much "crossover" of the POP guests to AoA and it was putting a strain on their services or ability to serve meals in an orderly / timely manner?

....we ate at AoA twice last year when we were at POP and my brother was at AoA. The variety of food was interesting ...but many menu items were "made to order" ....and it took FOREVER to get the food (..and that was before the Mermaid section opened there ...with that added guest load). Many of the items on the new POP menu seem to be "made to order" also ....and being that POP has one of ...if not THE largest guest population ....I would hope it doesn't make the food lines even longer.

It was nothing to write home about. had they cooked it longer it would have been similar to Stoffer's but they didn't, and it was more like Elios.

Stayed at POP once and I remember the food court being a madhouse every time.
