    Default Beach Club club level--Day 2--Part 1

DH woke up super early (5:30-ish), showered and went over to check us in at the Beach Club. The plan was for me to get ready while the kids slept, and then when DH got back to the Swan, for us to check out of the Swan and then head over to the BC and grab breakfast in the lounge before heading to the MK. However, we underestimated how long it takes to get two little ones up, dressed and ready (including feeding DD, who still eats mostly baby food) and then get packed up and checked out of a hotel. So, we didn't make it over to the BC until about 8. The MK opened at 8, and we knew the crowds would be heavy, so we decided to just skip breakfast in the lounge and grab something at the park. (Quick side note--we rented a double stroller through Strollers and Groceries, and IT WAS AWESOME! It was at the BC when we arrived, and we loved it. I will be renting from them again!)

We were lucky, and a bus arrived about 5 minutes after we arrived at the bus stop. We were in the gates of the MK shortly before 8:30. The crowds were already pretty thick, but DH and DD booked it straight for Fantasyland while DS and I stopped by the bakery to grab breakfast. DS wanted a sugar cookie (I know, not the best nutritional choice, but it's vacation!), and I saw the giant ooey gooey cinnamon rolls and had to have one. I didn't think about how logistically difficult it would be to transport one of those while holding DS's hand and carrying a big diaper bag, but somehow we managed.

I met up with DH and DD right in front of the Little Mermaid ride. DH had grabbed FP for Peter Pan and parked the stroller, and LM was a walk-in, so we quickly gobbled up our breakfast (those cinnamon rolls definitely lived up to their hype, by the way) and then went for a voyage under the sea. How fun! We then visited Ariel in her grotto. This was DD's very first character experience, and she was a bit unsure, but at least she didn't cry! Then, while DH and DS went to ride Dumbo, I took DD to the baby care center to feed her a snack and change her diaper.

We met up with DD and DS afterward at Peter Pan for our FP time. By the time we were finished, the crowds were really crazy. HM was on a 35 minute wait, and IASM was about 40 minutes, and it was only about 10:30! We were debating what to do about lunch. I had a reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe, but we thought it would be better to stay in the park and try and do a few more attractions, so we canceled it. We rode Pirates, visited The Tiki Room, bought DS a popsicle, did a little shopping and also rode the Peoplemover. By then, it was about 1:30, and both kids were pretty tired, as were DH and I. We contemplated jumping over to the Poly to grab lunch, but we decided to just head back to the BC instead and see what snacks were available in the lounge and grab something for DS at the Marketplace. On the way out of the park, we noticed that it was only a 15 minute wait to visit with Mickey at City Hall, so we popped in and did that. DD was really getting tired, so our pictures were not that great, but DS was so glad to see the big man!
