    Default Interactive pins?

Has anyone heard about a pin that interacts throughout the parks. Like it lights up at certain times or something like that. Our hair dresser said there is a pin like this he had heard about and wants us to get him one on our trip down next week, but I have never heard of any pins like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. If they do have these pins where can we get them from?

Yes, I heard of them a few months ago; after some research I found that they made them several years ago. I don't know for sure, but everyone I've asked in the pin stations says they have NOTHING like that now.

If anyone knows anything different I hope they post it here for both of us!

I believe they were called "Magical Moments" pins or something along those lines.

You can occasionally find them on Ebay.

They apparently DO still work. But, Disney no longer sells them directly.

They were part of the 100 Years of Magic. We still have 4 of them (we had collected them all) ... They were fun and went off all of sudden! They were VERY VERY heavy though, and frequently lost their backs ... and NO we are not parting with ours.

HaHa I never part with my pins unless there starter pins. I was lucky and got one pin that was a 100 years pin from a cast member at the front of Magic Kingdom and this guy saw it on my lanyard and tried to take it from me I was like UMMM no Sir this will not be happening. We do however buy the locking backs now because so many pins fell off with just the little rubber backs.

I THINK I have some. Were they the ones that had little lights imbedded in them that would suddenly light up and flash, depending where you were or what was going on around you? It was several years ago...

I still have Mine somewhere as well. As Jen said, they are big and clunky, and while they were cool at the time, technology has gone far since then.
