Default Drive to Hoop Dee Doo

We are staying at the Dolphin and have reservations at Hoop Dee Doo. We will have a car, can we drive to Fort Wilderness Campground? Or what is the best way to travel there and back?

Can can drive. You will have to park in the main parking lot, and then take an internal bus to Pioneer Hall, but they run very often, and we've never had to wait more than a few minutes.

You can take the bus to MK, and then the boat to Fort Wilderness, which is a fun way to get there. Most night, after the show they have busses waiting for the various resorts, but if not, you just repeat ... boat back to MK and bus home.

Also, since you're at the Dolphin, you could make your way over to Epcot, and take the Fort Wildnerness bus from there. Again though, you will have to take the internal FW bus, so it is probably easier just to drive.

FW is a pain to get to. I boat from either MK or the Contemporary.

We just went to the HDD for the first time in May and opted for the bus to MK/boat to FW. We actually enjoyed our trek over there. We also weren't under any time constraints since we went to the dinner on our arrival day and had no other plans. After the show there were buses waiting to take guests back to the resorts. They split the resorts up into 'zones' so you will travel to other resorts. But again, we weren't in any rush so it worked well.
