Default How long of a ride from Sanford airport to dsney property?

In general? I can fly there for several hundred dollars cheaper. But will have to take a shuttle from Sanford to our hotel. Just wondering how long of a drive it is. Usually it's about an hour from MCO to Disney hotels.

We will be flying into Sanford this fall for the first time; I was told it's 45 minutes from the airport to WDW property (give or take traffic).

Sanford airport (SFB) is about 40 miles farther away from WDW than Orlando airport (MCO). Mapquest says the drive from SFB is just about an hour, whereas the drive from MCO is about half that.

Yep, it's about an hour. We always rent a car there, and hit the outlet malls and WalMart (for stuff we didn't want to pack, like bottled water and breakfast items). So it takes us more like four

its about an hour "depending on traffic"... which can impact your times a great deal if your arrival or departure were to put you in either of the rush hour commutes. Not a big deal for late friday night to Sunday flights...nor is it an issue for arrivals since an extra hour getting to Disney is also likely not a big deal...but if you are leaving on a weekday, leave a little extra "get to the airport" time in your schedule.

That's not bad time wise. I checked several of the shuttle Services and round trip is anywhere from $170 to 250. Maybe a taxi is cheaper ?

I'd be surprised if a cab were less expensive but you might try checking fare finder to get an idea.

It's an hour ride to the AKL from Sanford.

totally off topic - but I first read the title as

"How long of a ride from the SCOTLAND airport to the Disney property".... and all I could think of was a long long time...

I now return you to your asked question.....
