Where to eat before the Wishes Dessert Party

Those of you who have gone to the wishes dessert party what did you do for your dinner on that night?
My plan is to be at AK for the day, take a break then head over to MK for the wishes dessert party. Did you eat a lighter meal so you could enjoy the desserts? I hate to spend all that money and not be able to sample several but at the same time I don't want to be starving either. Should we just split some counter service meals? What worked for you?

We did the Wishes Dessert party last summer & found that it serves A LOT OF DESSERTS! We had a late lunch/early dinner around 5:00 & split a club sandwish at The Plaza Restaurant so by the time the Dessert Party started we were ready to eat again & was able to enjoy it. Hope this helps.

I confess...I eat a late lunch...and desserts are dinner!!!!!

We had a light sammy at our resort. The desserts are AWESOME!!
