From my experience there does not seem to be a set pattern. Sometimes they go to Riverside first, other times FQ. I did notice that each rersort had their own bus in the build up to park openings.

Although there are differences at times, in general, the buses pick up at FQ. Then (if sharing), they go to the South Depot (main building) at POR and work their way around the loop from there.
Depending on crowds, I've seen buses just pick up at FQ, just FQ and the South Depot, or make the whole loop.
It sounds a lot worse than it is though, we've stayed at FQ and POR and never had a real issue with transportation at all!
Thanks for the info. I was curious incase we happened to get AB in POR on the north end if we could hitch a ride to FQ to try one of those beignets everyone's been talking about. I know it's not all that far to walk, but if a bus was going by anyway, we would jump on. It looks like we'll have to take a lovely walk one morning. No problem.
The Downtown Disney busses always do the reverse route and go to POFQ last. In addition, you can also take the boat - it stops at POFQ on its way to Downtown Disney.
