Generation Gap Bridge?

If I remember correctly, Disney's Pop Century Classic Years was originally planned to connect with the Legendary years via Generation Gap Bridge. The Bridge crosses over Hourglass Lake.

Has there been any word on whether or not the bridge will be accessible once Disney's Art of Animation resort is open?

I would guess, at least for the first year or two, that the Art resort would be inundated with walk through traffic just to check it out. Would be interesting though to have that expansion to dining options.

Just occurred to me, if Disney does opt to open the bridge again will you (of course unofficially, and we here on Intercot frown upon it so don't flame me) be able to pool hop?

My guess (and I know nothing) is that once the Art of Animation is completely finished they'll open up the bridge.

I dont see why they wouldnt. it was originally meant to link the two sides after all. Ill have to see if i stay at AoA if i do go on this postponed trip in the fall
