Just started watching the recorded show. Actually seems like there are some interesting teams (no cheerleaders--yay!) Brenden and Rachel sound like one of the boring ones. I'm laughing at Bopper and Mark as I type!

Oops, sorry. I could have sworn that's how they referred to themselves. Maybe it was another racer.
Isn't that a wider issue with the whole Jersey Shore cast all being New Yorkers?

Man, I love this show!
First impressions ... Bopper or Mark (can't remember which), if you're that out of breath on the very first challenge I have to give you a Chris Carter, "Come on, man!" You mean you didn't work out and get in shape before you went on TAR?? Puh-lease!
Annoyed the New York/Jersey guys didn't go home. I hate Jersey Shore and these two clowns just about equally.
Speaking of clowns ... they seem weak and unlikely to make it very far. Although I will say they stepped up nicely towards the end of this leg. I had them pegged to be first eliminated.
What an ending, huh?? I had to laugh when Phil was like, "Gee, I've never seen anyone do that before." Way to rub salt in their wounds lol!

They did, Mel. Wish they went home.

I don't think they called themselves "Jersey," they identified themselves as "Guidos" and said they are sure people look at them and think they're your typical "Jersey Shore" type people. And Mel, yes, it is a huge point of contention with the cast of Jersey Shore not actually being from Jersey. I sometimes wish North and South Jersey were two separate states

Beth, one of my first thoughts as well.

I thought that was funny too.
I am one of those "clowns are scarey" people, so I won't be sad when they go, which I think will be soon.
I don't watch Big Brother but get the feeling that Brendon and Rachel were not popular on that show and will not be popular on this show either. She annoys me already. What's with her sparkly getup?

As far as I'm concerned they might as well be. They couldn't be more different!

Wasn't meaning your comment, just the general blame NJ for the Jersey Shore people from NY.

Finally
I finally got to sit down and watch (and then come to a computer to watch the last 20 mins arg) and I thought it was a good episode. I like most of the people so far, no really old people, no really out of shape people, nothing too dramatic so far. I liked how the wording of the Road Block sort of set it up so the person who didn't want to be skydiving ended up doing it Tricky!

I agree--and I was impressed that they all did it. I think back to that ridiculous scene a few seasons ago when Mika refused to go down the water slide. This was a hundred times harder than that.

Did you see the next time preview at the end.
Rachel's already crying that nobody likes her. Could be a long season if they stick around.
